Cooxupé's Environmental Education Center (NEA) was inaugurated in 2013 and its main objective is to promote socio-environmental awareness and encourage changes in behavior, making our community more aware of its role in society. Through nature experiences, we encourage local community engagement and environmental education, with a focus on offsetting environmental impacts, conserving biodiversity and protecting water resources. We have a team trained to receive primary and secondary school students from our region. During their visits, the students take part in recreational and educational activities that reinforce their connection with nature, such as themed presentations, an ecological trail and hands-on activities in the native seedling nursery.
