The Café Produtor de Água program aims to strengthen sustainability in the coffee production chain, enabling the adoption of conservation practices and the improvement of vegetation cover, while at the same time promoting the environmental revitalization of watersheds in coffee-growing regions.
These actions contribute directly to reducing erosion and sedimentation, as well as increasing the infiltration of water into the soil. Another fundamental aspect of the initiative is the restoration of riparian forests, promoting the preservation of water resources and the protection of ecosystems associated with coffee growing.
