1932 - SOCIAL COMMITMENT

In the "Minutes of Installation of the Cooperative", from 1932, when it was still operating as an agricultural credit cooperative, its strong concern for the "social" aspect is already demonstrated by stating in its main objective: "the supply of credit and cash to its members". It should be noted that during this period, the world was going through a major economic recession and that the constitution of the cooperative was aimed at social gain, with access to credit for economic growth, income generation and jobs.
