GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices (Feed Mill)
Cooxupé has implemented GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices - in its production processes for feed, concentrates, mineral supplements, protein and nuclei, which are measures adopted for the correct handling of food, from raw materials to the final product, in order to guarantee the safety of products intended for animal feed.
GMPs are made up of fundamental requirements ranging from the physical installation, maintenance of equipment, rules on personal hygiene and cleanliness of the workplace and a description of the procedures involved in processing the product.
Cooxupé does not have a specific certification for this, but it does maintain a rigorous process of controls to ensure compliance with GMPs and legal requirements, the main one being, but not limited to, NORMATIVE INSTRUCTION No. 4, OF FEBRUARY 23, 2007, which defines the basic hygiene procedures and good manufacturing practices for food manufactured and industrialized for animal consumption.
